Student Advisory Council

The Student Advisory Council at The Media School serves as the undergraduate students' representative body to The Media School administration and deans.

The council is composed of undergraduate students who are committed to contributing thoughtful and informed student perspectives on issues that affect students at The Media School. The council works closely with the director of undergraduate studies and the director of student services, and meets throughout the academic year to discuss new initiatives and emergent issues. The council's recommendations help to influence the school's goals, delivery of services, and programs. 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all student advisory council meetings.
  • Advocate for, provide feedback from and collaborate with Media School offices on programs, initiatives, and services.
  • Appraise and evaluate the effectiveness of current and future programs.

Qualifications

All members must currently be enrolled in The Media School and remain in good academic standing during their term. 

Duration

The Student Advisory Council meets during the fall and spring semesters.
