There's a wide variety of places to live on the IU campus, but there’s only one where you can be sure that your neighbors will be happy to chat about current headlines, proofread your latest story or take part in your next film project: the Media Living Learning Center.
Our community, housed in Forest Residence Hall in the Southeast neighborhood, is designed especially for students with an interest in news, film, games, communications and media.
As a Media LLC resident, you’ll live in a community that inspires and supports you as you explore your passion and identify and pursue career goals.

Your floormates are also potential collaborators for media projects. Community members often team up to produce media — past projects have included short films, newsletters and websites.
Apply to live in the Media LLC by completing the Learning Communities page on IU’s student housing application.
You don’t have to be a Media School major to live here. You just have to be interested in media and be eager to learn more about the role it plays in our daily lives.
A $100 per year fee helps fund programs and trips.
All residents are required to take MSCH-C160: The Media Village together during the fall semester.
