Job description/tasks:
Content Creation & Design: Design eye-catching, scroll-stopping social media posts that showcase our mission and impact Create graphics, reels, stories, and videos that are engaging and on-brand Capture the beauty and emotion of our work through compelling visuals and copy Experiment with trends, sounds, and formats to keep our content fresh and playful
Strategy & Planning: Develop a social media content calendar that tells our story consistently Plan campaigns around giving days, volunteer recruitment, and awareness events Brainstorm creative ways to showcase our volunteers, donors, and flower recipients Balance educational content, storytelling, and calls-to-action Community Engagement Help grow our online community with authentic, warm interactions Monitor comments and messages, responding in our friendly, hopeful voice Identify opportunities to connect with followers and turn them into volunteers or donors Impact Tracking Track what’s working (and what’s not) to refine our approach Share insights and recommendations with the team
Required qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field Strong design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional) Excellent writing skills with a warm, conversational tone Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn Creative, playful spirit with attention to detail Passion for nonprofit work and making a difference
