Biography
Tim Bell (Ph.D., Queen Mary, University of London, 2011) joined the Media School as a lecturer in 2017. He teaches a diverse slate of undergraduate courses in film and television studies, spanning topics including British Film, Film Adaptations, True Crime, Stardom, Observational Film and Reality Television. These courses prompt students to explore and think critically about the popular forms of mass-mediated storytelling they consume, and to reflect on the cultural, social and industry forces that determine what it is they watch, read, and listen to.
