The Media School Alumni Board has elected three new members. During their three-year terms, they will attend twice-yearly board meetings, enhance student-alumni connections, review curricula, and provide insight into the media industry.

Sia Nyorkor is an Emmy- and award-winning journalist with over two decades of experience across television, radio, documentary, digital, and streaming platforms. Her career began behind the scenes at New Jersey Public Radio and includes reporting roles in Kansas and Florida. Later, she served as a sunrise reporter for WTHR-TV in her hometown of Indianapolis and spent nearly a decade at WOIO-TV in Cleveland, covering major stories including the Cavs championship, the RNC, and the Facebook Killer case. She joined 3News in 2025 as an anchor and reporter, contributing to “What’s Next at 11p.m.” and co-anchoring “Front Row Fridays.”
Nyorkor is known for her impactful storytelling, including the award-winning series “The Next 400,” which explored systemic racism, social justice, and more. Her work has earned national recognition, including Gracie Awards from the Alliance from Women in Media Foundation and a Press Club of Cleveland award. After earning her bachelor’s degree from IU, she earned her master’s from Columbia University, where her thesis documentary aired nationally. Active in the National Association of Black Journalists and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Nyorkor also volunteers at St. Augustine Hunger Center and was named one of Cleveland Magazine’s “Most Interesting People.”

Luci Rainey is the founder of Day One Consulting and Coaching, a consulting firm that provides skills-based training and leadership development, designed to support leaders and their business. Throughout her career spanning over three decades, Rainey held a variety of roles in sales and marketing — from healthcare to telecom to moving and storage — including an executive marketing role at Fortune 40 Comcast and as chief customer officer at PODS. In 2020 she received the CMO club Rising Star Award.
She has helped her clients grow their strategic marketing, leadership, and powerful business storytelling skills all designed to elevate their careers or the growth of their businesses. She is thrilled to join The Media School as an adjunct instructor in the fall to teach Careers in Advertising.

Greta Snell is the vice president of strategic initiatives at Dittoe PR. With 15 years of industry experience, Snell has developed and executed successful PR strategies at the local and national level for clients in nearly every industry, and is well-versed in crisis communications, media training and integrating PR with social media and marketing. She enjoys working with clients that use PR to inform audiences on impactful topics and local clients working to connect with their community. In addition to client success, Snell leads Dittoe PR’s hiring, recruitment, internship program, onboarding, and training strategies while also supporting business efforts that propel Dittoe PR forward as an agency.
Outside her workplace, she serves on the Indy Zoo Council and is an active member of the PRSA Hoosier Chapter. She also served on the Local Organizing Committee (Communications and Media) for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials with Indiana Sports Corp. and USA Swimming.
